According to a KIA military source, significant gains have been made in Bhamo Township, Kachin State, as KIA joint forces successfully captured the 236th and 366th Battalions of the terrorist army on February 18. This major breakthrough marks a pivotal moment in the ongoing conflict, delivering a substantial blow to enemy forces operating in the region.

The operation unfolded in Bhamo Township, an area that has seen intense fighting in recent weeks. The complete capture of the 236th Battalion and the 366th Battalion not only diminishes the terrorist army’s strength but also paves the way for further advances by KIA troops. However, the offensive is far from over. The 21st Operations Command Headquarters (SKA 21) is currently under heavy attack, with KIA joint forces rapidly closing in. This aggressive push has resulted in significant casualties among the terrorist ranks.

Our troops have reached the operational command headquarters and are inflicting heavy casualties on the terrorist forces.” This statement underscores the momentum gained by KIA forces and their relentless determination to dismantle enemy positions.

The successful capture of these battalions in Bhamo Township is a clear demonstration of the KIA’s operational capability and strategic prowess. As the joint forces press forward against the 21st Battalion and its command headquarters, the ongoing offensive is expected to further destabilize the terrorist army’s control in the region.
